Dear Readers of mine! I wanted to provide a thorough and truly deserved BRAVO review for Memphis Tours guide – Kadria Saad. She is one of the main reasons my travel mate and I had such a marvelous time in both Cairo (2 days) and Alexandria (1 day) w/ her as our guide. Not only was she completely professional and attentive towards us at all times, she was prompt and always engaging.
Her style of showing us and explaining the Giza Platform, Pyramids was amazing. Her assistance w/ the Camel ride (a detailed blog on that to follow) was truly appreciated. She escorted us through the Egyptian Museum with such ease and took her time to explain all the highlights and allowed extra time for us to roam the King Tut rooms.
On our day during the touring of the Cairo Citadel of Saladin as well as the Muhammad Ali Mosque, she was more than happy to share information with us about the Islamic Religion and explained all the details of the Mosque and consistently welcomed any questions we had. Again, thank you Memphis Tours.
When I disclosed to her that I am Jewish, she welcomed this information in the most kind and gentle manner – which lead to her taking out some time for us to explore the Anwar Sadat exhibit at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina which for me remains on of the true highlights of the entire trip.
At no time did she ever make us feel rushed, or as if we were bothering her and only encouraged us to ask more questions as she could tell our interest and enthusiasm about Egyptian History both Ancient and Modern was genuine.
We shall remain forever greatful for the warm, inviting, educational and adventurous tour she took us on. Memphis Tours should consider itself lucky to have such a wonderful human being working for them.
Thank you Kadria Saad – from Chris and Wendell!
PS – I need to also acknowledge the amazing driving efforts of Ussama – he was amazing and always quick to go through Egypt traffic. Thank you!
